Portland is such a cool city, filled with colourful murals, beautiful parks and amazing scenery! This is such a fun city to explore for a week and I hope these places inspire you for your own photos!
St. Johns Bridge
By far one of the prettiest bridges I have ever seen and no matter which way you look at it you find a cool vantage point to take amazing photos. You can park right underneath the bridge and then walk to Cathedral park below and sit by the Willamette river. After you explore underneath the bridge head up and walk along the bridge to get pretty views of Portland.
NE Alberta street between 15th ave and 29th ave street
This street is filled with food trucks, cute boutiques and amazing restaurants. Also NE Alberta street is full of beautiful murals along all the side streets. This is one of my favorite areas in Portland, thereβs always something going on.
Portland Sign
Found along the Naito Parkway, a great spot to grab a photo day or night. You can stop by while visiting the Saturday market or when taking a walk along the water.
Keep Portland Weird Sign
A very popular mural that is found in a parking lot across from the famous Voodoo donuts. Totally agree with this sign, Portland is so weird but in the best way!
Chinese Garden
A gorgeous garden found in China town. Itβs so peaceful and beautiful here and a great escape from the busy city. They have tours every hour and also a tea house with the prettiest views.
Washington Park
5 minutes from the city is Washington Park, which is found atop a mountain with expensive houses, the rose garden and Japanese Garden. A beautiful spot to escape from the city and explore the trails and gardens.
Tilikum Crossing
A pedestrian and tram bridge that is the perfect spot for sunset photos and views of the city. At night the bridge lights up and changes colors. You can park at the Opera building and walk over.
East Bank Esplanade
A beautiful walking path right on the water, itβs the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and take a walk along the river with lots of pretty viewpoints. It can be hard to get to, so you might have to park close by and walk.
I’m sure there are many more beautiful spots to photograph around Portland and you’ll have so much fun exploring this city! Always have a spare battery with you because you will be using your camera like crazy!
