One of my favourite trips in 2019 was to Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. The big draw for tourists is the lighthouse, as it is the most photographed in the world! A majority of my memory card from that day was the lighthouse since every angle looks so different! This is why I put together these 20 photos to inspire you to visit Peggy’s Cove!
Since I travel solo and don’t drive I had to join a tour and I know what you’re thinking…no one really likes tours. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by this one and it was a photography tour run by Picture Perfect Tours and I think it was well worth the money! However, if you have a car than I definitely suggest visiting at sunset to capture the beautiful sky shining on the lighthouse and avoid most tourists!
If you need help planning a day trip to visit Peggy’s Cove click here for all the info! I definitely suggest coming in the summer months since the weather will be the best for photography and shops will be open!
Note: please be respectful while exploring this town. A small community lives here and it’s important to take care of the land and abide by the rules for your safety!
Peggy’s Cove is such a special place on the East Coast of Canada. One that should definitely be on your road trip itinerary if you are visiting Nova Scotia. I hope my photos of Peggy’s Cove have inspired you to visit this relatively untouched part of Canada. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed, it is sure to leave you in awe!
